Follow the steps below to enable PrismHR Hiring for your clients.


STEP ONE: Enable in a single Client account so you can "Clone" for all Clients


A) Create a "Recruiting" menu item for client manager(s) you wish to enable:


1. While logged in as a Superuser, navigate to HRP (PrismHR) Web Edition for the specific client that you wish to enable, go into Administration → Menu Configuration

2. Select the client manager you would like to give access to PrismHR Hiring

3. Select the H/R Action Menu as the desired Header Menu on the left 

4. Select Recruiting from the Available Menu Items on the right and drag it into the middle column to add it as a sub menu to H/R Action

5. Click SAVE Changes

6. Give the client manager(s) access to the new menu item by navigating to Administration→ User Security

7. Select the client manager from the User dropdown and select Recruiting from the Menu

8. Give the appropriate permission (typically selecting ‘Select All’)

9. Click SAVE Changes


B) Create a "Job Applicants" menu item for client manager(s) you wish to enable:


1. While logged in to HRP (PrismHR) Web Edition for the specific client that you wish to enable, go into Administration → Menu Configuration

2. Select the client manager you would like to have access to Job Applicants 

3. Select the H/R Action Menu as the desired Header Menu on the left 

4. Select Job Applicants from the Available Menu Items on the right and drag it into the middle column to add it asa sub menu to H/R Action

5. Click SAVE Changes

6. Give the client manager(s) access to the new menu item by navigating to Administration → User Security

7. Select the client manager from the User dropdown and select Job Applicants from the Menu

8. Give the appropriate permission (typically selecting ‘Select All’)

9. Click SAVE Changes


STEP TWO: Clone the Recruiting and Job Applicants menu items from the Client account you enabled in Step One above for all of your PEO Clients.


1. Select System Administration > File > Web Admin Menu > Menu Cloning. The system displays the Web Menu Cloning screen, similar to the one shown in the screenshot below.






2. Enter the appropriate information in each field. Explanations of the fields are as follows:

  • Donor Client: The ID or code that represents the company from which you want to produce a clone. Press F3 to select from a list of valid entries.
  • Donor User: The ID or code that represents the user from which you want to produce a clone. Press F3 to select from a list of valid entries.
  • Menu Name: The name of the menu that you want to clone to the user or users in the recipient company or companies.Press F3 to select from a list of valid entries.
  • Recipient Company: The ID or code that represents the company or companies that will own the user or users that will receive the cloned menu of the Donor User. The recipient company must already exist. Press F3 to select from a list of valid entries.
  • Header Menu: The Web Edition header menu into which you want to place the  cloned menu item. Press F3 to select from a list of valid entries.
  • Security?: Pertains to cloning managers, who have access to employees. Indicates whether you want to apply the donor user’s full  security to the recipient user or users. Valid entries are Y (Yes,  lock down everything by default) and N (No, the new user has access to all employees in the company).
  • Test?: Indicates whether you want to test the proposed update without actually creating any users. The test run is performed without any “writes” to the database. Valid entries are Y (Yes, run this only as a test and do not create users) and N (No, create users).


3. When you have finished entering the appropriate information in each field, click F2 - Continue. If it is successful, the system displays a message stating menu cloning is complete.
