Want to know exactly where your best applicants are coming from? You can customize your external applicant sources list so we can track this data for you. By fine-tuning these sources, you’ll get better insights into where to focus your recruiting efforts. Follow these steps to make your edits:


Steps to Edit Your External Applicant Sources List

  1. Open Account Settings

    • Click on the Hamburger Menu in the top right-hand corner of your account.
    • Select Account Details from the dropdown.
  2. Navigate to the Applications Section

    • Scroll down to the Customize & Design section.
    • Click the Applications button.



  3. Edit the Custom Referral Dropdown

    • In the Custom Referral Dropdown field, edit the existing list or add new external sources you use to attract applicants.
    • Separate each entry with a comma.
    • Click the Save Changes button to update your list.
  4. View Your Updates in the Application Form

    • Your updated external applicant source options will now appear in the dropdown menu under the “Where did you hear about us?” section of your Application Form.

    • This data is captured in your reports to help you track applicant sources.

Where to Find This Data in Reports

To see where your applicants are coming from:

  • Go to Reports > Applicants
  • Navigate to the Applicant by Source section

Here, you’ll find a breakdown of applicant sources, helping you pinpoint which channels are delivering top candidates.
