When using SSO, it is important to update the user’s email address in PrismHR, not just in Hiring. The email address sent over from PrismHR is the address the user will log in with. If the email is only updated in Hiring, the user may experience login issues.


There are two ways to update a user’s email address for SSO, depending on whether you are using PrismONE ID or not.


Both methods begin by navigating to the Users page in PrismHR Hire.

You can access the Users page by either:

  • Typing Users into the search box at the top of the page, or
  • Navigating to Back Office (if available) < Users


If You Are Using PrismONE ID

  1. Log in to your environment with your PrismONE ID.
  2. Navigate to Users < click User ID.
  3. Search for and select the user you wish to update.
  4. Under the Service Provider User Details section, click Go To PrismONE ID.
  5. In the User Management menu, select the Change option next to the Sign In Email.
  6. Enter the new email and follow the authentication steps to save the changes.



If You Are Not Using PrismONE ID

  1. Navigate to Users < Click User ID.
  2. Search for the user you wish to update and select from the list.
  3. Change the email address on the user profile.
  4. Click Save.


Once the email address has been updated in Prism, navigate to:

Hiring < Menu < My Profile

Confirm that you are logged in with the correct email address.
