So, you've found the perfect candidate using HiringThing and are ready to bring them on board through HRPyramid. Fantastic! Let's walk through the process to ensure a smooth transition.
Access the Applicant's Profile in HiringThing
- Log in to your Applicant Tracking Account account.
- Navigate to the applicant's profile by clicking the "View Applicant" button.
Mark the Applicant as Hired in HiringThing
- Within the Application Viewer, click on the "Mark as Hired" button.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear, indicating that the applicant's data has been sent to your HRPyramid account and is ready to be set up as a new hire.
Navigate to the Job Applicant Section in HRPyramid
- Log in to your PrismHR account.
- On the left-hand navigation pane, go to "H/R Action" and click on "Job Applicant."
Select the Applicant for Hiring
- In the "Job Applicant" section, use the drop-down menu to select the applicant you wish to add as a new hire.
Initiate the Hiring Process
- After selecting the applicant, click on the "Hire" button located at the bottom right side of the screen.
Complete the New Hire Information
- Click on the "Continue" button.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions to add the new hire's information.
- You'll have the option to proceed via the "New Hire" module or the "onHRP" module (if available).
- After entering the new hire's Social Security Number, you'll be prompted to select your preferred module.
Fields Transferred During the Hiring Process
When you click on the "Mark as Hired" button in HiringThing, the following applicant information is transferred to begin the onboarding process:
- First name
- Last name
- Address (if provided)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Position applied for
- Application date
- Start date (if provided; if not, the hired date is used; if neither is provided, the current date is used)
- Social Security Number (if provided)
- Date of Birth (if provided)
- EEO data, including race, gender, disability status, and veteran status (if provided)
Note: Only fields that have been filled out in the applicant's HiringThing profile will be imported.
